И про Тип 79 интересное описание: Это ручной пулемет созданный на основе чехословацкого пулемета пулемета 1926г, при этом его назвали Тип 79 не из-за года, а из-за калибра в 7.92мм.
К сожалению фотографии именно Тип 79 не приводится. Есть фотография “скопированного пулемета 1926г китайского производства”, но непонятно является ли он Тип 79 или это что-то другое
Может быть японцы ошиблись и записали Тип 65 как пулемет калибра 6.5мм, хотя это был Тип 79 учитывая, что сам калибр указан верно?

"In the late 1930s, as war in the Pacific region became more and more inevitable, the KNIL needed additional automatic weapons, and there were no facilities in the Netherlands East Indies to manufacture them. After the German occupation of western Europe, the KNIL was cut off from its suppliers of small arms: Madsen in Denmark, and Vickers in England. The Colonial Army sought help from the United States, but found that Canada and Great Britain had already contracted for most of the available production. The KNIL invested in the private build-up of production facilities of the Johnson Automatics firm in New England for supplies of the new Johnson semi-automatic rifle and light machine
gun, but manufacturing problems and shortages of raw materials saw to it that only a small quantity were delivered before the surrender to Japanese forces.
The only light machine guns that could be obtained in any appreciable quantity were approximately 200 Italian Breda M.30s, which had been captured by the British in North Africa, and 500 to 1,000 World War I-vintage American Lewis guns. Ironically, the KNIL had cancelled an order for Dutch-made M.20 Lewis guns in 1918, because of the delay in production; in 1940 these surplus Savage Lewis guns were the only viable light machine guns available."

A minor variant of the Model 1925 (R75) was the R75A light machine gun with a quick-change barrel (produced in 1942 in small quantities for the Dutch army).
С википедии. Цевье на R75 по мне больше похоже. Может оно? Какой калибр мог быть? Под .303 как раз похожий магазин нужен.
